The exhibition will feature a range of Andrew’s paintings, sculptures, drawings and prints, including some of his original sketches for The Mount Felix Tapestry, as well as some of his sunset paintings.

Hilary Bradt enjoyed an 18-day ‘pioneering’ trip to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in 2016, travelling to all parts of the country, discovering beautiful mountain scenery and fine beaches, as well as numbingly dull factories.

SCENTED CANDLE MAKING WORKSHOP

Laura’s home, Walton-on-Thames

Laura will take you through each stage of the candle making process. You will have the chance to smell and test a beautiful selection of fragrances & essential oils. Then with tips and advice from Laura you will create your unique blends to scent two candles for you to take home.

THE MYSTERY OF MEMORY LANE

A warm and nostalgic show based around a Bric-a Brac market stall where Mr Shabby and Mrs Chic try to teach a new dog old tricks and solve the Mystery of Memory Lane. Telling stories, singing songs, using tin toys, hand-carved marionettes, seaside Punch and Judy puppets and playing vintage musical instruments they eventually restore the memory of the lost Puppet Dog Toby and find out where he belongs. Suitable for ages 3-8 years.

Or is he? Well, (spoiler alert) no he isn’t – in fact he’s in the prime of health and, with his faithful servant, they are conning the neighbours out of everything they own.

Cathy Spooner is particularly drawn to experimental painting of natural forms such as rock formations, wood, sea and riverscapes. Janet McDonagh is a qualified embroiderer and textile artist, more recently exploring what can be produced with a paintbrush instead of a needle.
