Emilia has been a favourite at the famous London Borough Market for 8 years. Bianca e Mora is a shop that specialises in food from Northern Italy, in particular the region of Emilia Romagna - the heart of gastronomic Italy.

The range can broadly be split into three types: cheese, charcuterie and balsamic vinegar. Each range having a very short but exquisitely sourced selection. With only a dozen or so cheeses, each is carefully chosen to complement the other, whilst also showing the full range available from the artisan who made it. Emilia's speciality is Parmesan, and it not only stocks multiple ages, but also the very rare brown and red cow varieties - these not only provide a fantastic taste experience but maintain the landscape and culture of Italy.

In short, it is a shop run by people who believe that good food should be available for all. It is therefore no surprise that Bianca e Mora have won best cheese, best deli/grocer and best individual product (red cow Parmesan) at the Slow Food Awards for the last three years. Visit their stall at the Walton on Thames Farmers' Market on the first Saturday of every month from 9:30am until 2:00pm.
