Thames Radical Cinema is run by enthusiastic, unpaid volunteers who want to bring radical films to the local community. Films include a mixture of old and new – some you may have missed the first time around or maybe just want to see again.

Why Radical? As well as being entertaining in their own right, the films promote social justice with strong messages and, occasionally, with a strong sense of humour. Afterwards, viewers are encouraged to stay on afterwards to discuss the issues raised by the film and meet Thames Radical Cinema members over drinks in the bar.

Screenings and discussions take place at 7pm - 10:30pm at each event, usually the first or second Thursday of the month. Tickets can be obtained via the Riverhouse Box Office. The organisation also collects donations for local foodbanks at the screenings. Check out their website for a list of films on offer and full information on ticket prices and membership.
