Walton Art Club meet nearly every Wednesday evening at 7pm - 9:30pm from the beginning of September through to the end of June each year. Whether you are interested in oils, acrylics, watercolours, pen or pencils, why not come along and give it a try. There is a wide range of skills and mediums brought to each evening by members, and there is always someone on hand to give help and advice. All standards are welcome, from complete beginners to competent professionals. And, who knows, you may be one of the lucky ones to sell a painting at one of their exhibitions!

The aim of the club is to help people to enjoy art in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. There is no vetting so anyone can join as long as they have an interest in art. On the first Wednesday of most months a guest professional artist gives a demonstration and non-members are very welcome to attend. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available during the interval. The club also holds two exhibitions a year, workshops and auctions.

If you would like to see whether the club suits you, feel free to come along on any demonstration evening where you will be able to talk to a member of the committee. If you want to see what a painting evening is like, please visit (without materials) and see what goes on. For membership costs, upcoming demonstration events and exhibition dates, please see their website.
