Walton Rowing Club takes pride in the friendly welcome that they offer rowers of all ages and abilities, regardless of whether you have your eye on Olympic qualification or a gentle paddle on a great stretch of water. The club boasts a first class, modern boathouse, a large fleet of racing and training boats, a separate gym and a huge clubroom with a fantastic view over the river. This is used for club events, yoga and pilates classes, and can be hired by members for parties.

The club has an enviable track record of competitive success at Junior, Senior and Masters level and many members and coaches have been involved at the highest levels of representation in the sport. WRC offers frequent 'Learn To Row' courses for both children and adults and will give you the opportunity to go as far as you want in one of the most rapidly growing sports in the country.

WRC membership is open to all. Application forms are available via their website or at the Boathouse. The perfect time to come down and see what goes on or to schedule an orientation is on a Sunday morning from 10am.

Marvellous place. WRC really welcomes all newcomers and there’ll be something for you from spectating to paddling to competing.
